Stable, fast-growing organization with long-term upside Opportunity to lead the FP&A function and make a direct impact About Our Client I'm currently partnered with the CFO of a multi-million-dollar manufacturing organization located near Bolingbrook, Illinois, who is looking to add a Head of FP&A in a newly created role to help build and scale the FP&A function. This individual will serve as a key strategic partner to the CFO, leading FP&A across the organization and supporting executive and board-level reporting. They will own the annual budgeting process (AOP) and be responsible for developing and enhancing long-range and strategic planning capabilities, which are currently limited within the organization. Job Description Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) process end-to-end, including financial modeling, scenario planning, and executive presentation of full financial statements in partnership with business leaders. Own the long-range strategic plan (3-5 years) and maintain rolling forecasts tied to key business drivers and operational metrics. Develop KPI frameworks and management reporting to monitor performance across multiple dimensions (entity, site, product, SKU, etc.). Lead monthly business reviews (MBRs), including preparation of materials and executive-level presentation. Perform price/volume/mix and pricing analysis to identify revenue and margin drivers and support commercial strategy. Partner cross-functionally (sales, marketing, operations, product) to evaluate financial impact of key initiatives and investment decisions. Deliver in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making, capital allocation, cost optimization, and growth opportunities, including M&A support as needed. Drive FP&A process improvements, including automation, scenario modeling, and enhanced forecasting tools. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time business insights. Ensure integrity of financial data and improve consistency across reporting systems and outputs.
