Responsibilities of the CNC Engineering Manager Lead the engineering department and mentor less experienced CNC personnel, facilitate workloads and engineering priorities Develop CNC engineering standards and technical documentation with your team Apply your experience with CNC machining on any well-known brand of CNC machinery to train for setup and programming including DMG MORI, Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Fanuc, etc. Lead the charge on the proper development of jigs, fixtures, cutting tools Use your knowledge if any of Fanuc or Siemens CNC Controls and multi-axis machining and CNC machine tools Put to use your CAM knowledge if any for MasterCAM, Siemens NX CAM, hyperMill, ESPRIT, GibbsCAM and any other similar platform Requirements of the CNC Engineering Manager Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required. Ten or more years of full-time on the shop floor CNC machine tool leadership. Excellent benefits and career growth potential! Familiarity with CAD such as AutoCAD, Creo or SolidWorks along with MS Office including Excel is a plus Compensation for the CNC Engineering Manager The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 depending on experience.
