This role supports cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures projects are completed on time while meeting quality and production goals. Requirements of the Engineering Manager Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Previous management/supervisory experience Strong knowledge of engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and production processes Experience with resource planning, team leadership, and performance management Proficiency with SolidWorks and G-code programming software (AP100 or similar) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager Provide engineering support across all production and value stream teams Coordinate technical support and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events Monitor productivity metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency Ensure clear communication across engineering, production, and leadership teams Maintain project schedules and support on-time delivery for internal and external customers Remove barriers impacting team performance and support daily operations Develop and mentor team members, including conducting performance evaluations Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE Pay is $130,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience If you have an open application with Matthews Professional Employment, Inc., please express your interest in this position to your consultant Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may be used in some portions of the candidate review process for this position, however, all employment decisions will be made by a person #MPE5
