Engineering Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of engineers supporting the design, development, and production of electromechanical actuation systems for commercial and military aerospace applications. This role combines people leadership, technical oversight, project execution, and operational management in a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 12 engineers, supporting performance management, talent development, and succession planning. Oversee electromechanical product development and engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through production. Ensure adherence to engineering standards, design processes, quality requirements, and industry best practices. Manage departmental budgets, resources, workload planning, and project priorities to support business objectives. Drive successful execution of NPI programs, product development initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with Product Management, PMO, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and customers to align technical and business goals. Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery. Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and program risks while supporting organizational growth. Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field. 10+ years of engineering and engineering management experience. Experience leading engineering teams in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Strong background in electromechanical product development, NPI, and product lifecycle management. Experience managing budgets, resources, and complex engineering programs. Knowledge of
