Job Description

About the Role Our client is a well•established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy known for delivering high quality technical solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. They operate across sectors including energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, commercial development, transportation, and environmental services, and are recognised for their collaborative culture and strong technical expertise. They are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer•Project Manager to lead a wide range of subsurface investigation and construction phase projects. This role is ideal for a motivated geotechnical professional who enjoys managing projects end-to-end, working closely with clients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, high value engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage geotechnical engineering projects from initial investigation through design and construction support Coordinate and oversee subsurface investigation programmes, including drilling activities and field operations Review and interpret boring logs, laboratory testing data, and field results Develop laboratory testing programmes and perform geotechnical analyses Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables Manage field engineers and technicians during construction and investigation phases Review field reports and confirm compliance with design drawings and specifications Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering within a consulting environment Demonstrated experience managing geotechnical projects and field programmes Strong technical expertise in subsurface investigations, laboratory testing interpretation, and geotechnical analysis Experience overseeing construction phase services and field teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and project management capabilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Collaborative mindset with a client-focused approach Why Join Our Client?
