at Enercon Services, Inc in Naperville, Illinois, United States Job Description Overview Join the ENERCON Team as a Project Engineer, where growth opportunities abound. Our Nuclear License Renewal Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support Subsequent License Renewal Application projects. This is a high-visibility role where your work will directly contribute to extending operating life at nuclear facilities across the country. As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing complex engineering tasks that result in a complete and accurate SLRA to be submitted to the NRC. This role is available in the following locations: Kennesaw, GA Chattanooga, TN Glendale, AZ Naperville, IL Fort Worth, TX Remote (by exception only) #LI-MB1 Responsibilities Imagine leading dynamic engineering projects, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You'll be at the forefront, managing client relationships and driving project success, all while shaping the future of our industry through your leadership and expertise.

Spearhead dynamic teams to drive innovative plant-specific solutions, ensuring exceptional quality and 20 more years of operation
Strategic Project Mastery:
Orchestrate projects with precision, delivering on time and within budget
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
Forgelasting partnerships, acting as the trusted liaison to guide projects to success and exceed client goals
Business Growth & Opportunity Leadership:
Drive growth by identifying new opportunities, shaping compelling proposals, and fueling future success
Mentorship & Growth:
Work alongside senior subject matter experts (SMEs) who will provide hands-on mentorship and help you develop into a future SLR specialist
Leadership Pathways:
This role is designed to groom engineers for leadership-whether you choose to specialize technically, lead teams, or guide future license renewal projects Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or a related field) OR PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experience License Renewal experience and familiarization with NRC, NEI, and EPRI related guidance documents Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager PE - Professional Engineer License is preferred Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a week Compensation Range USD $107,200.00 - USD $204,000.00 /Yr.
