Hendrickson is searching for Summer Interns to join their engineering team in Woodridge, IL.

Essential Functions:

Our interns will spend the summer becoming acclimated with Unigraphics NX and TeamCenter; learning standard company engineering processes and tools; gaining an understanding of machining processes, castings, steel forming; gaining an understanding how to read documentations and drawings; learning how drawings correlate to fixtures; and gaining an exposure to the validation engineering group and again an understanding of that part of the development process. Depending on their assigned programs, interns could see assignments consisting of collecting and analyzing data, introduction to FEA, fatigue calculations, exposure to ride and handling, vehicle dynamics, reliability testing, and statistics. Students may also spend time in our Validation's R D Lab doing hands on testing if the assigned program calls for it.

Education and Training:

Students who are pursuing an engineering degree at an accredited college or university are eligible to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for a summer internship you must be actively enrolled in an engineering degree program with an accredited college or university. Students must hold a GPA of 3.0 or better.
