In this role as a Commercial AVL Design Consultant, you will be in charge of all sales and pre-sales tasks (pre-contract) associated with projects being handled by Sweetwater's Commercial AVL department, acting as the front end for all AVL projects and setting the stage for future steps in the integration process. In this position, you will be responsible for the coordination of leads that funnel through internal intake platforms, discovery calls with clients, project handoff to design and operation teams, and the presentation of system proposals to clients prior to contract agreements. You will act as a bridge to connect the client, their Sales Engineer, and the rest of the Commercial team in charge of seeing the project through to completion. You will also be tasked with document generation for a project, including contract drafts and design proposals. Early in the Commercial team's rollout, this position may be required to offer feedback and assistance on post-contract sales and customer interaction. Job Responsibilities Coordinate initial client meetings to identify pain points and functional requirements for AVL systems, performing Discovery and Needs Analysis for each client Create conceptual system designs and Scopes of Work (SOW) Facilitate program handoff design and operation teams to ensure technical solutions align with the client's goals Keep clients and Sales Engineers informed during each stage of the project prior to contract and lead formal presentations Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline stages, and forecasting in Project Resource Central Draft project documentation, including contracts, presentation documents etc. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field Extensive knowledge of AVL equipment and their integration in commercial systems 3-5+ years of relevant design, sales, or operations experience within commercial integration Firm understanding of subcontracting workflows and challenges Familiarity with live sound, recording consoles, signal flow, and networking for AVL systems Outstanding organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities Sweetwater "Ideal" Team-Player WOWs The Customer
