This role will serve as both the technical lead and project manager, overseeing projects from concept development through commissioning and final deployment. This position is heavily focused on electrical infrastructure, power distribution, utility coordination, and facility systems within an active industrial environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise along with the ability to manage contractors, engineering firms, schedules, budgets, and project execution. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of electrical capital projects from planning and design through construction and startup. Oversee projects involving medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems , substations, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and facility infrastructure. Coordinate with utility providers, contractors, consulting engineers, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams. Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and code compliance. Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, RFQs, and capital cost estimates. Lead construction execution, contractor oversight, commissioning activities, and project closeout documentation. Support electrical reliability improvements, facility expansions, and infrastructure modernization initiatives. Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA, and company engineering standards. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required. 510+ years of experience managing industrial capital projects with significant electrical scope. Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution systems, facility infrastructure, and utility coordination. Experience managing engineering firms, contractors, procurement activities, and field construction execution. Understanding of electrical safety standards, Arc Flash considerations, and power system reliability. Strong communication, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional leadership skills. Experience within manufacturing, industrial, chemical, food processing, or heavy industrial environments preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Additional Information Primarily an on-site role supporting active industrial operations. Approximately 25% travel required, including regional and occasional overnight travel. Occasional off-hours support may be required during shutdowns, commissioning, or major project milestones.
