Job Description
A growing manufacturing company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead mechanical engineering and product development for HVAC, refrigeration, liquid transfer, and portable equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role combining team management with mechanical design, product development, testing, and manufacturing support. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team while managing priorities and project timelines. Oversee the design, development, testing, and improvement of HVAC, refrigeration, pump, piping, and mobile equipment. Utilize SolidWorks 3D to develop designs, drawings, and engineering documentation. Manage projects from concept through design, testing, and manufacturing release. Develop and execute design verification test plans, procedures, and reports. Partner with manufacturing to troubleshoot design and production issues. Drive VAVE, cost reduction, manufacturability, and product improvement initiatives. Maintain product drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field . 7+ years of mechanical engineering or product development experience. Previous engineering leadership or management experience preferred. Strong SolidWorks 3D experience. Background with HVAC, refrigeration, pumps, piping, fluid systems, or industrial equipment preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment with product testing and design verification. Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction and without the need for current or future sponsorship.
