As the Vice President of Information Technology, you will work alongside our executive team to develop strategy and execute / implement activities intended to help us run our operations efficiently, compete effectively, optimize profitability, securely protect from threats, and empower our staff with the right tools and platforms to deliver high-quality products with high performance. You will also own and direct both internal staff and / or external partners towards creating a technology ecosystem with proper governance and innovation to achieve corporate objectives in an evolving digital landscape. Major Responsibilities Develop and execute a progressive IT strategy aligned with corporate growth, project delivery, and client service goals Serve as the internal technology leader and advisor to executive leadership on systems, risk, cybersecurity, and innovation Oversee and manage the MSP relationship, including performance, SLAs, budgeting, and strategic alignment Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise systems (e.g., project management, ERP, document management, collaboration tools, etc.) Identify where AI and automation can improve how we work (design, project management, operations, administration, recruiting) and lead the initiatives that automate repetitive tasks and put our date to better use Establish and enforce IT governance, cybersecurity standards, data management policies, and business continuity standards, and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations Partner with department leaders and staff to identify opportunities for process improvements through technology Manage IT budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including data security and accessibility considerations Oversee (or delegate) technology onboarding and offboarding process in coordination with HR Evaluate AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Architectural Engineering Construction (AEC) specific platforms Intergrate AI technology and current software such as Deltek Ajera and AutoDesk AutoCAD Establish Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation of repetitive workflows and improved data utilization Lead / oversee company's AI committee and establish responsible AI usage policies, training programs, and governance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred); will consider applicants with real world job experience of 10+ years 8-12+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles Experience working with or managing MSP / vendor relationships Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems with a practical, execution-oriented mindset Demonstrated experience leading technology strategy, not just operations Familiarity with AEC industry tools (e.g., AutoDesk AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Deltek Ajera, etc.) preferred Experience implementing or scaling AI and automation solutions in a business environment (professional services firm preferred) Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value Comfortable operating in mid-size company environment with lean internal IT staff Passion for innovation and continuous improvement Strong collaborator who can work effectively across technical and administrative teams, from field staff to senior leadership, and enjoys training and mentoring others Proficient with standard productivity tools (MS Office, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro) with Bluebeam experience being a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills; comfortable juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball Self-starter with a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever it's needed Your Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary Signing bonus / relocation package Annual bonus program Eligible for ownership stake 401k with company match Company paid health insurance available Company paid dental insurance Vision insurance Company paid new parent leave Company paid life insurance Company paid short-term and long-term disability insurance Company paid holidays (including floating holidays) Company paid time off (PTO) Company paid professional development Career advancement Supportive, casual, and fun work environmentBenefits
