Engineering Lead

Job Summary We are looking for an engineer ready to step into a leadership role. This position will supervise one engineer and one intern, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their management experience. The Engineering Supervisor leads the facility engineering function to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role oversees capital projects, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures production equipment and facility systems are properly maintained. The position plays a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing costs, and supporting production through effective use of resources and engineering solutions. Essential Functions Lead and manage engineering resources to support plant operations and strategic initiatives Provide technical guidance and responsive support to production and other departments Supervise an engineering team responsible for technical support of equipment maintenance systems and repairs Ensure technical support for all production equipment and facility systems promotes safe, efficient, and reliable operations Collaborate to develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime and reliability Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational performance Plan, coordinate, and execute capital projects, including equipment installation and process upgrades Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to support maintenance and project execution Work with outside consultants to provide expertise for specialized projects or improvements Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement Job Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 5-10 years of engineering and/or maintenance management experience Experience managing capital projects and driving process improvements Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Project management experience strongly preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus Preferred MBA or advanced degree Experience in a manufacturing environment Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
