An Engineering Program Manager provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company's products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.

- Key Responsibilities
- The PEM will provide guidance and leadership for all technical activities during the execution and capture phases, including: + Completing all technical scope in accordance with the program baseline.
- Primary Duties

Technical Leadership:
- Lead the engineering team in planning and executing all program tasks; provide direction, mentorship, and decision-making support to Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads and staff. +
Execution:
- Manage program milestone reviews and contract deliverables to ensure all products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations. +
Problem Solving:
- Anticipate and resolve technical challenges while ensuring inter-group cooperation to meet program objectives. +
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure strict adherence to engineering processes, systems engineering design, and company product safety policies throughout the program lifecycle. +
Lifecycle Management:
- Plan and direct Life Cycle Management (LCM) across all program phases. +
Talent Development:
- Motivate, evaluate, and mentor engineering staff to foster professional growth. +
Controls:
- Implement robust Program Monitoring and Controls (PM&C) to maintain scope, budget, and schedule. +
Communication:
- Provide timely status updates and progress reports to the Guns PEM, Program Managers, and customer stakeholders. +
Representation:
- Deliver presentations to management and customers regarding marketing, cost, schedule, and technical/contractual status (requires occasional international travel). +
- Physical Requirements
- : This role requires regular presence in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The incumbent must be able to access and safely navigate production areas which may include climbing, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Must also be able to comply with all requirements including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policy.
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- + Bachelor s degree in engineering or related discipline and 8 years of engineering/technical experience.
- Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- + Mk 45 or related product knowledge and experience. + Experience overseeing projects using EVMS. + Current Secret Clearance. + Experience with production support.\#LI-Hybrid #LI-JR1
- Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range:
$132962 - $226035 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Employee Benefits:
