Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing engineered projects from start to finish. Estimating functions include analyzing customer requirements, preparing an estimate of costs, and providing the customer with a quote in an accurate and timely manner. The Project manager will use a combination of technical and business insights to develop conceptual designs and cost estimates of complex, industrial shelving structures. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer specifications, particularly for large-scale clients with complex requirements. The Project Manager acts as the central point of communication between internal departments and external stakeholders.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from quotation and sale through engineering, manufacturing, and installation
  • Review project scope, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate execution
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Installation teams
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate engineering design reviews and ensure alignment with customer expectations
  • Monitor production progress and proactively address delays or bottlenecks
  • Oversee scheduling and coordination of shipments and on-site installations
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status, changes, and expectations
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion
  • Ensure all quality standards, specifications, and contractual obligations are met
  • Manage project documentation including drawings, change orders, and approvals
  • Track project costs and support efforts to maintain profitability
  • Lead project closeout activities, including final documentation and customer sign-off
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Overtime and extended hours may be necessary based on department needs.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-phase projects for enterprise-level customers
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering workflows, and installation coordination
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques SolidWorks preferred

      Depending on the job, the ability to move around the office or travel may be necessary.

      Pay:
      $65,000.00 - $75,465.67 per year
