5 Days Onsite Systemone is seeking a Senior PingDirectory Engineer to support enterprise Single Sign On (SSO) directory services within a large scale financial services environment. This role will focus on PingDirectory upgrades, operational support, maintenance, security updates, and implementation of custom directory solutions in an AWS based environment. The Senior PingDirectory Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, security, and reliability of directory services supporting high volume authentication workloads. The role requires deep hands on expertise with PingDirectory, LDAP, directory administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, migrations, and security. Experience supporting directory services in cloud and containerized environments is important. This is a senior level position requiring the ability to independently troubleshoot complex directory issues and provide operational support for business critical identity services . Your future duties and responsibilities 5+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting PingDirectory, preferably in AWS environments. Strong knowledge of LDAP, including directory schemas, indexes, replication, referrals, access controls, and directory data modeling. Experience troubleshooting complex directory issues, analyzing logs, optimizing LDAP searches, and tuning indexes and performance for high volume authentication workloads. Hands on experience with directory migrations, LDIF exports/imports, synchronization, data cleanup, backup and restore procedures, and disaster recovery. Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, certificates, password policies, access control rules, secure bind patterns, and service accounts. Experience integrating directory services with IAM and authentication platforms. Experience deploying or supporting PingDirectory using Kubernetes, Docker, or other cloud/container platforms. Familiarity with PingFederate and PingAccess or similar IAM technologies is preferred. Experience using Shell, Python, or similar scripting languages to automate directory administration, monitoring, and operational activities. Strong production support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution skills for highly available enterprise environments. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
