We are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to join our engineering team in Boston. This role focuses on managing supplier quality systems, ensuring compliance with quality management standards, and supporting the delivery of reliable components and systems across our manufacturing operations. $100,000 - $150,000 per annum

Experience:

5-10 years in supplier quality or quality management roles

Leadership:

1-2 years leading or coordinating teams What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Managing supplier quality systems, audits and compliance activities aligned with QMS standards Developing and implementing supplier quality procedures, checklists and inspection protocols Coordinating inspections, testing and field application reviews to ensure component and system reliability Leading corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes with suppliers Maintaining quality documentation and metrics to track supplier performance Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and support design standards Mentoring or coordinating with junior quality team members What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 5-10 years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering or quality management Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant quality standards Demonstrated experience with supplier audits, inspections and compliance activities Strong communication and stakeholder management across suppliers, engineering and operations Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field Proficiency with quality documentation systems and basic CAD or technical drawings Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have ASQ certification (CQE, CQA or equivalent) Manufacturing and field application experience Experience with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes Familiarity with design standards and system integration principles What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Opportunity to drive quality improvements across a supplier network Scope to contribute to product reliability and customer satisfaction Potential progression toward senior quality leadership roles Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams in engineering and manufacturing Professional development support and structured progression pathways Competitive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and flexible work arrangements where applicable About Specialist Staffing Group We are a leading recruitment and staffing partner specializing in engineering, technical and professional placements.
