full-time Electrical Project Manager Baltimore, Maryland Area $130,000-$160,000 annually, based on experience We are conducting a confidential search for an established Baltimore-area commercial electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its team. The company performs commercial electrical construction, renovations, service, maintenance, and specialty systems work for prominent facilities and high-profile venues throughout the Baltimore region. Its capabilities also include fire alarm, fiber/data, electronic security, surveillance, and related building systems. This is an opportunity for an electrical construction professional who wants meaningful project ownership, direct access to company leadership, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and field teams. What You'll Do Manage commercial electrical projects from award through closeout Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, subcontractors, and equipment Partner closely with foremen and field leadership to keep projects on schedule and within budget Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements Manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and project documentation Identify, price, negotiate, and track changes in project scope Monitor project costs, labor productivity, commitments, and profitability Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, customers, vendors, and project partners Participate in project kickoff, progress, coordination, and closeout meetings Support estimating, budgeting, change-order pricing, and preconstruction activities as needed Identify potential project risks early and resolve issues before they affect cost, schedule, or customer relationships Manage multiple active projects and priorities simultaneously What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience Experience in project management, project engineering, estimating, field leadership, or a combination of these areas Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction practices Experience with renovations, retrofits, service work, occupied facilities, and/or commercial construction projects Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents Working knowledge of estimating, change-order pricing, purchasing, scheduling, and cost control Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills Ability to work effectively with field personnel, general contractors, customers, vendors, and company leadership Direct electrical project management experience is strongly preferred, but we will also consider experienced Assistant Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, Electrical Estimators, General Foremen, and Superintendents who are ready to take on greater project ownership.
