Job Description

Project Executive•Heavy Civil $150,000•210,000 A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to lead overall operations, project execution, and field performance across the organization. This role is ideal for a proven leader with a strong background in site development, utilities, and infrastructure construction , as well as the ability to drive operational excellence and growth. Key Responsibilities Provide executive leadership over all construction operations, including project management and field teams Oversee multiple projects to ensure schedule, budget, safety, and quality targets are met Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability Lead and mentor Superintendents, Project Managers, and field leadership Collaborate with executive team on planning, forecasting, and business growth initiatives Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, and key stakeholders Drive company-wide safety culture and performance standards Qualifications 7+ years of leadership experience in heavy civil, site development, or infrastructure construction Proven track record managing large teams and multiple projects Strong understanding of project execution, budgeting, and construction operations Experience with sitework, utilities, grading, or roadway projects Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to drive performance, accountability, and team development Benefits Executive-level leadership opportunity with a growing contractor Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Long-term growth and advancement potential Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Structural Drafter (Revit)
