Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's quality management system to ensure products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role leads the quality team, develops inspection and testing procedures, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with the latest Industry Standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards Lead and mentor the Quality Technicians, Inspectors, and other quality personnel. Develop and implement quality procedures, inspection criteria, and process control methods. Oversee all quality audits (internal, customer, and third-party). Review and interpret GD&T requirements on engineering drawings and ensure accurate part inspection and reporting. Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding quality issues, corrective actions, and product compliance. Manage calibration of gauges, instruments, and inspection equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability. Support new product launches through PPAP, FAI, and process capability studies. Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure appropriate training and development for quality staff. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity . Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint reading. Proven experience with CMM programming, operation, & Other Metrology Instrumentation . Solid knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and CAPA . Experience leading internal and external audits & Containment . Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software. Preferred Qualifications ASQ certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). Associate or bachelor's degree in quality , Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience in gage calibration, repair, and materials testing .
