Job Description
Traveling Project Manager- Mechanical Construction Are you willing to travel anywhere in the US? This is an opportunity with a growing national team to lead complex HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects while working for a company experiencing tremendous growth throughout the mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing markets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans
- Coordinate engineering, fabrication, field operations, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure project safety, quality, and financial performance
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and project teams
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Mechanical Construction Project Management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or proven working experience in Construction Management
- HVAC, Plumbing, or Mechanical Piping project experience preferred
- Strong financial management and forecasting skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and project schedules
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of P6 or Microsoft Project and willingness to learn
