Job Description

Position Overview:
The Civil Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing civil engineering projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures accountability across internal teams and external partners while delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project stakeholders, while overseeing project planning, design coordination, and financial performance. Responsibilities Lead and manage civil engineering projects through all phases, establishing clear goals, expectations, and accountability for scope, schedule, and deliverables Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and local agencies, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle Plan and initiate projects by organizing kickoff meetings, developing project teams, and establishing workflows, communication plans, and documentation procedures Oversee design progress and provide technical and quality oversight of project deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project objectives Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners to maintain progress, resolve issues, and keep projects on track Manage project budgets and financial performance, including monitoring costs, reviewing progress, invoicing, and identifying additional service opportunities Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, permits, and agency requirements, while maintaining organized and accurate project documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Proven experience managing civil engineering projects from planning through construction Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Solid understanding of project financial management, regulatory requirements, and multi-discipline coordination Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Tuition reimbursement Flexible work schedule Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Professional organization memberships
