Summary:
As a Quality Manager, you will lead and develop the Quality team to ensure products and processes consistently meet customer, engineering, regulatory, and company requirements. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support production operations, oversee quality systems, and partner cross-functionally to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring successful product launches, and fostering a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and mentor Quality team members to achieve department and company objectives. Drive quality improvement initiatives internally and externally to improve product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction. Partner with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and support operational performance. Ensure products and processes meet customer, engineering, regulatory, and company requirements. Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and support successful product and process launches. Oversee implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and quality control systems. Utilize data analysis, statistical methods, and problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Monitor and improve process capability, quality KPIs, scrap reduction, yield improvement, and customer quality performance. Lead customer and supplier quality issue resolution, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness. Ensure completion of Layered Process Audits, process audits, product audits, and quality system assessments. Support customer visits, audits, and quality-related communications. Review and approve quality documentation including Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, Work Instructions, Inspection Standards, and PPAP documentation. Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies. Collaborate with global teams and headquarters to ensure alignment of quality standards and initiatives. Develop and track departmental KPIs, providing regular updates to leadership. Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
7+ years of Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment. 3+ years of leadership experience managing quality teams, departments, or cross-functional initiatives. Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations. Experience working within a global manufacturing organization preferred. Automotive, EV battery, electronics, or highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with customer-facing quality management and product launch activities preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including executive leadership. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Effective project management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, MSA, SPC, and capability studies. Knowledge of quality inspection methods, metrology, and measurement systems. Experience leading root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other structured methodologies. Understanding of manufacturing processes, process controls, and continuous improvement principles. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience; Six Sigma Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality-related data analysis tools. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production, global sites, and headquarters.
