Job Description

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Supplier Industrialization Engineering projects and programs. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Analyze, develop, and implement a strategic engineering process for the Supplier Industrialization Engineering team and project management, aligning with broader organizational program management goals. Plan and establish the sequence of Supplier Industrialization Engineering operations for new product launches, internal-external running changes including New Product Introduction (NPI) and maintain a high level of technical expertise in each area, aligned with Engineering and cross functional program management teams. Analyze engineering specifications to set clear objectives and performance standards for Supplier Industrialization Engineering. Evaluate and refine Supplier Industrialization Engineering project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivery. Review and ensure the engineering requirements are met and collaborate with cross functional teams on Supplier Industrialization Engineering process and program progress, resolving issues and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes. Evaluate the effectiveness of the Supplier Industrialization Engineering process and program status, pinpoint areas for enhancement, provide risk mitigation plans and ensure consistent and impactful communication and escalations to Leadership. Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Generate and review regular reports for management, highlighting Supplier Industrialization Engineering/Supplier performance, OKRs-Goals-KPIs, risks, and strategies for improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes on program management that may impact supplier industrialization. Oversee the Assembly plant Supplier Quality personnel, responsible for all containment activities, reworks, and reports on ongoing quality issues. Domestic travel required up to 25%; International travel required up to 40%.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in industrial engineering, mechatronics engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related engineering field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience managing vehicle manufacturing processes or programs.
Special Skills:
This position also requires education or experience in: SAP; Chassis and Body In White; Profit & Loss, CAPEX, analysis of ROIC; Lean manufacturing; Continuous improvement; Kaizen tools; 5S; Problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, fishbone, 8D, 5D); Managing a team of other engineers; and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).

Salary Range:
$185,760 to $262,100 per year. The compensation range for this position is specific to the location(s) listed in this notice and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position, taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions—including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
