Our client, a respected transportation and construction engineering firm in Southeast Michigan, is seeking a Construction Engineer / Project Manager to lead MDOT and local agency construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage construction engineering and inspection for MDOT and local agency projects Oversee field staff, documentation, testing, and contract administration Process pay estimates, change orders, and project records Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and design teams Apply transportation knowledge from design through final construction

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan 8+ years of MDOT or heavy highway and/or bridge construction experience Knowledge of MDOT specifications and documentation (FieldManager a plus) Strong leadership and communication skills
