We are seeking a Director of Engineering to serve as the company's highest technical authority and to define, lead, and execute the long-term technology vision of the organization .The Director of Engineering will be responsible for all technical strategy, engineering execution, and technology governance across hardware, software, systems, and manufacturing technologies. This role is critical to ensuring Enterprise Electronics delivers safe, reliable, compliant, and innovative products at automotive scale while anticipating future industry shifts in electrification, autonomy, connectivity, and software-defined vehicle s . Key Responsibiliti esTechnology Strategy & Leadersh ipDefine and own the company's long-term technology vision and roadmap aligned with overall business strateg y.

Serve as the principal technical advisor to the President, executive team, and other stakeholder s.

Drive innovation while balancing cost, quality, reliability, safety, and time-to-marke t.

Anticipate emerging automotive and electronics technologies and guide strategic investment decision s.

Engineering & Product Developme ntProvide executive oversight of all engineering disciplines, includin g:

Hardware (analog, digital, power electronics, sensor s)Embedded software and firmwa reSystems engineering and architectu reElectro-mechanical design packag esValidation, verification, and testi ngEnsure product architectures meet automotive requirements for safety, performance, scalability, and lifecycle suppor t.

Establish best-in-class engineering processes, tools, and development standard s.

Oversee technical execution from concept through production launch and sustained manufacturin g. Automotive Compliance & Qual ityEnsure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations, including but not limited to:
ISO 26262
(Functional Safe ty)
ASP ICEIATF 16
949Cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 214 34)Champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across all technical tea ms.

Act as executive sponsor for safety-critical and mission-critical progra ms.

Manufacturing & Operations Supp ortPartner closely with operations and manufacturing leadership to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, testability, and co st.

Support global manufacturing, supplier qualification, and component lifecycle manageme nt.

Guide technical decisions related to yield, reliability, and field performan ce.
