SERVE ELECTRIC

Industrial Electrical Project Manager in Sterling Heights, MI The Opportunity Serve Electric is growing and looking for a seasoned Project Manager who can hit the ground running- someone who knows the local industrial electrical landscape, has relationships in the market, and can lead a team while also helping us win new work. This isn't just a desk job. You'll be out in the field, managing complex electrical projects, supporting your crew, and serving as a trusted point of contact for customers. You'll also play a direct role in growing the business by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and generating leads through your work and your network. Competitive Pay:
$95,000-$110,000 salary range, commensurate with experience +Bonus Potential Health Insurance Company Vehicle 401(k)
Retirement Plan Company Cell Phone & Laptop Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays What You'll Do Project Leadership:
Plan, schedule, and manage electrical projects from start to finish Monitor budgets and schedules to keep jobs aligned with the plan Oversee and/or perform ESA upgrades to machines and equipment Supervise and support multiple technicians in the field Read and interpret control circuits, control panels, and electrical drawings Address project issues, scope changes, and conflicts as they arise
Customer & Business Development:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers- communicate clearly and proactively Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts Identify and quote additional work opportunities within current customer accounts Generate new leads through referrals, jobsite visibility, and local market relationships Represent Serve Electric in a way that builds trust and opens doors for future work
Safety & Quality:
Lead by example with a strong commitment to safe work practices Drive quality and efficiency standards across all jobs Estimate labor, materials, and time accurately and deliver on those estimates Manage work orders and review/approve invoices What You Bring 8-10 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in an industrial setting 5+ years of experience quoting jobs and managing electrical projects Strong knowledge of NEC code Experience supervising field technicians and managing project budgets Clear communicator who can manage customer expectations and deliver on commitments Ability to identify growth opportunities and take ownership of account development Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic computer skills (work orders, invoicing, scheduling) Existing customer relationships or industry connections in the Michigan area (preferred) Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required) About Serve Electric Serve Electric is a multi-dimensional electrical contractor serving customers across the United States.
