Quality Manager Location:
Minneapolis, MN Work Environment:
On-Site Shift:
1st Shift Overview A growing industrial manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality systems, customer satisfaction initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across a regional operation. This position plays a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, managing compliance programs, reducing quality-related issues, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead regional quality initiatives involving customers, suppliers, and internal operations Support resolution of quality-related concerns and implement effective corrective actions Drive customer satisfaction through on-time delivery performance and reduction of product errors Manage and improve corrective and preventive action systems with strong follow-up practices Oversee capability studies, SPC activities, and process monitoring on production equipment Maintain and manage regional quality certifications and compliance programs Partner with supply chain and vendor management teams on supplier quality performance and claims Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and reporting expectations Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce defects Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and reporting systems Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Statistics, Operations, or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience with ISO quality systems and auditing processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends Experience with ERP, reporting, or business intelligence systems is a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis tools Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and leadership levels Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, SPC, and root cause analysis methodologies preferred Compensation Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits and long-term career growth opportunities.Job Type:
