Quality Engineer Supervisor (Direct Hire)

Columbus, Mississippi (on-site)
Compensation:
$95,000-$120,000 base We're partnering with a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Engineer Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity with strong upward mobility and a culture that values continuous improvement and innovation. This role reports to the Quality Manager and plays a key part in building and enhancing a best-in-class quality management system. If you're someone who doesn't just maintain processes but actively improves them, you'll fit right in. What You'll Do Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality systems and processes Design and evaluate QA sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques Create and manage quality KPIs, ensuring follow-through on improvement initiatives Lead and support corrective and preventive actions using a data-driven approach Manage APQP processes for new product launches (PPAPs, FAIs, capability studies) Participate in MRB activities and collaborate across multiple divisions Conduct internal and external audits (customer, ISO, etc.) and drive corrective actions Interpret engineering drawings, specs, and standards Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations Maintain calibration systems and ensure compliance with QMS standards Interface with customers and suppliers as needed What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering 4-5+ years of quality/continuous improvement experience in manufacturing Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Hands-on experience with: PPAP, FAI, capability studies
SPC & MSA
methodologies Root cause analysis (8D or similar tools) Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
