Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Engineer Manager to support production planning, workflow optimization, labor forecasting, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives within a complex industrial or shipbuilding environment. This individual will be responsible for analyzing production processes, improving workflow and facility utilization, developing labor plans, and driving cost and schedule performance through data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. The Industrial Engineer will partner closely with production, program management, and operations leadership to identify bottlenecks, optimize material flow, support staffing strategies, and implement sustainable manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale manufacturing, shipbuilding, or industrial environments and possess a strong understanding of production systems, labor planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and process improvement methodologies. Skills and Requirements Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree Experience doing process improvement methods 5+ Years management experience Strong understanding of labor planning, cost estimating, standard development, multi-point/level analysis and schedule adherence. Understanding of EVMS concepts and applications Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and engineering standards and systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong knowledge of build strategies and ability create work flow processes Ability to act with a sense of urgency Strong computer literacy
