Manufacturing Engineering Director West Point, MS | In-Person | $140,000 - $165,000 /yr | Full-Time A well established and growing aerospace and defense manufacturer with a team that cares about their people is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management functions.
What You'll Do:
Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management teams Translate program requirements into manufacturing plans that meet cost, quality, schedule, and compliance goals Serve as the primary engineering interface to Program Management Lead engineering execution for New Product Introduction (NPI), including gate reviews and production readiness Drive tooling, automation, and process improvement initiatives Own configuration management, change control, and audit support Mentor and develop engineering leaders and technical staff
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace, or related) 12+ years progressive experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong knowledge of AS9100, FAI, and configuration management Track record leading NPI and manufacturing process improvements
Preferred:
Master's degree or MBA Lean Six Sigma certification Automation/robotics experience Defense program experience
