DPP is seeking an Endpoint Engineering Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Advance, NC. Position description: The Endpoint Engineering Manager serves as a hands-on technical leader and people manager responsible for overseeing enterprise endpoint and infrastructure engineering initiatives. The position combines technical execution with team leadership, requiring active involvement in system architecture, automation, deployment strategies, and operational improvements. The role leads a team of engineers while contributing directly to technical solutions across endpoint management, infrastructure, and system administration environments.Location:
Fully onsite in Advance, NC.Duties:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting endpoint and infrastructure environments. Oversee enterprise endpoint management platforms and infrastructure operations. Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with IT objectives. Participate in hands-on technical work including scripting, deployment engineering, and system configuration. Oversee software deployment, application packaging, and testing processes. Manage system upgrades, migrations, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with security standards, patching strategies, and system hardening practices. Develop and maintain operating system imaging solutions across multiple platforms. Administer and support Microsoft Exchange environments. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to support enterprise IT initiatives. Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and reporting metrics. Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: 7+ years of IT operations or infrastructure management experience. Proven experience leading and managing technical teams. Strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure and endpoint environments. Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM). Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments. Strong knowledge of patch management, system security, and compliance. Experience with software deployment, application packaging, and automation. Strong PowerShell scripting experience. Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions (e.g., Intune, SOTI, Knox, or similar). Experience supporting cross-platform environments (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android). Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration. Experience with ITIL frameworks and service delivery models. Experience with large-scale enterprise environments.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
