division is currently seeking a Product Engineering Supervisor based onsite at our Arden, NC manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available to candidates currently residing in the US. The Product Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers within the Custom Order Engineering organization, with full supervisory accountability including workload planning, performance management, coaching, and enforcement of engineering standards. This role partners closely with Customer Order Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Line Sales teams to deliver accurate, timely, and complete engineering packages. The COE Supervisor supports the Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA) product line by ensuring high-quality custom designs, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining alignment with customer requirements and Eaton standards. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do:- Manage engineering production schedules by balancing resources, monitoring milestone deliverables, and supporting Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing, Warranty, and LVA Custom Order Design functions.
- Assign and prioritize orders based on individual skill sets, workload, and order complexity to ensure on-time and accurate engineering output.
- Provide direct supervision to SB06 and SB07 engineering staff, including work assignment, performance evaluation, coaching, and corrective action as required.
- Support new product and custom design efforts, including development of customer-specific solutions and standard configurations.
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost.
- Develop and coach engineers through ongoing guidance, career development support, and performance management, including Talent Hub evaluations, goal setting, and development planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, workflows, and overall team efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Eaton engineering standards and best practices across the COE organization.
Qualifications & Skills:
Basic (required)Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of experience leading or supervising a technical, operations, or engineering team with the aptitude to understand engineering requirements and provide guidance.
- Four (4) years of technical/engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment.
