N a t ional ENR Top 25 General Contractor seeking qualified quality manager for various commercial projects in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, team based working environment.
Q u alified candidates shall possess a minimum of 5 to 20+ years of experience in the construction industry. This role requires support and oversight of project teams implementing the Whiting-Turner Quality Management Plan (QMP) on each of our projects. The quality manager must have a self-driven and motivated personality and must understand how quality management functions integrate with project planning, procurement and construction activities. The role requires working together with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to form an effective approach to quality management on behalf of our clients.
D e sired attributes and competencies for this role include the following:
- chelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology or Construction Management, Construction Technology.
- S/RMS experience is preferred.
- oficient in construction means and methods, work sequencing and field operations experience.
- derstands quality process and protocols, how to develop project-specific written quality plans and can integrate with quality-related technology.
- le to clarify process expectations, set goals and performance metrics, explore root causes, develop team collaboration, and practice effective time management.
- mpetent in teaching, training, coaching and facilitation with an adaptable and flexible approach. Respected as a competent construction quality professional.
- n connect and work with others, establish proper clarity and focus, is self-driven and motivated, value-driven and dedicated to personal and organizational development.
- oficient in risk analysis and mitigation, effective written and oral communication, strategic development, and process refinement.
- oficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and has knowledge of or can easily become proficient in software programs used by the project team (e.g., Touchplan, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, etc.)

A more detailed list of responsibilities and duties include the following:
- sist project teams in developing and executing project-specific QMPs.
- pport project teams in executing the work in strict compliance with the contract documents.
- view contract documents and other project documents for constructability and accuracy.
- derstand, critically analyze, and extract critical quality elements from construction documents, submittals, etc. in support of developing QMPs.
- llaborate with project teams to establish roles and responsibilities for scheduling inspections, managing the inspection process, and participating in and leading inspection walks.
- rticipate in and lead portions of quality-related project meetings including, but not limited to, pre-installation meetings, preconstruction meetings, kick-off meetings, mock-up review meetings, first-work inspections, subcontractor weekly syncs, specification reviews, owner progress meetings and others as deemed necessary to provide support and oversight of the QMP and the quality health of the project.

S a lary Range
- The base salary range for this position represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting and is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to role, level, relevant education, experience, training, skills and abilities, location, and market and business considerations.
Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of the various factor identified above. The foregoing information reflects base salary only and does not include other forms of available compensation to which employees may be entitled including but not limited to profit sharing, appreciation rights, retirement compensation, travel subsistence, holiday contribution, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, healthcare (including dental and vision benefits), life insurance, disability insurance, and other compensations/benefits, which are dependent upon various factors including but not limited to years of service, location, performance, etc. Th e annual base salary range listed is subject to change at any time, in the Company's discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
