Northwest Minnesota A well-established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Engineering Superintendent to lead capital projects, oversee plant engineering initiatives, and support ongoing facility improvements. What You'll Do:
Lead plant engineering projects from planning and budgeting through installation and startup. Manage a multimillion-dollar engineering budget and long-term capital improvement plans. Oversee equipment upgrades, facility improvements, contractors, and construction activities. Supervise and mentor engineering personnel while collaborating with plant leadership. Ensure projects meet safety, environmental, operational, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate project costs, schedules, vendor proposals, and equipment specifications.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience managing capital projects within food manufacturing, agricultural processing, ethanol, chemicals, or another industrial processing environment. Strong background in project budgeting, contractor management, and equipment installation. Previous engineering leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Familiarity with process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and industrial manufacturing systems. What's In It for
