Job Description

Duties:
Provide technical engineering advice, programs and training to regional operations management and appropriate personnel in one or more functional area (mechanical, electrical). Develop and participate in the development of technical protection and maintenance programs in one or more functional area that is compatible with company, operational, governmental and safety requirements. Assist operations management in the implementation, operation and modification of established programs. Conduct periodic reviews/audits to assure program, procedure and code compliance. Make recommendations and coordinate activities between regions to resolve deficiencies or other operational problems. Provide engineering/technical guidance and training to appropriate regional personnel in areas of functional accountability. Act as a consultant for regional operations personnel to identify and resolve problems, analyze malfunctions or make complex modifications or repairs in assigned functional areas. Develop or coordinate the development and implementation of region-wide plans in assigned functional areas. Monitor and report on program status or plans. Provide technical leadership to staff. Provide technical input to assist in development of project planning.
