Job Description The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will: Lead, develop and mentor a multidisciplinary manufacturing engineering team. Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction. Develop and implement manufacturing processes that improve efficiency and support business growth. Act as the site's technical authority for machining, tooling and manufacturing engineering challenges. Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS and HR teams to align engineering objectives with business priorities. Oversee process development, documentation and standardization across manufacturing operations. Support new product introductions by transitioning products from development into full-scale production. Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies. Identify opportunities for automation, advanced manufacturing technologies and process optimization. Analyze production data and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements. The Successful Applicant The Manufacturing Engineer Manager should have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. Significant experience leading engineering teams within a manufacturing environment. Strong background supporting CNC machining, fabrication, assembly or precision manufacturing operations. Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and driving measurable operational results. Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept through implementation. Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop talent. Excellent project management and organizational capabilities. Proven experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach. Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience with ERP systems, CAD software and Microsoft Office applications. A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a focus on innovation and achieving results.
