We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of The Brook's facilities and grounds. In this leadership role, you'll oversee engineering operations, preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and a skilled team dedicated to providing a safe, efficient, and exceptional environment for our guests and employees. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering team, including Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Grounds staff Oversee daily maintenance operations across buildings, grounds, equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and reliability Plan, prioritize, and oversee work orders, repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects Manage department schedules, staffing, performance reviews, training, and employee development Coordinate and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers Monitor department budgets, expenses, inventory, and purchasing activities Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, building codes, life safety requirements, and company policies Provide engineering support for events, entertainment venues, and seasonal operations Serve as a key resource during facility emergencies and operational challenges What We're Looking For 7+ years of facilities, engineering, construction, hotel, casino, or commercial maintenance experience 3+ years of leadership or management experience Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance Proven experience leading teams, managing projects, and overseeing contractors Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and decision-making abilities Experience managing budgets, preventive maintenance programs, and operational priorities Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Valid driver's license required Ability to obtain and maintain a New Hampshire Primary Game Operator License (sponsored and paid for by The Brook) Must be at least 21 years of age Why Join Us 100% Employee-Owned — Your leadership directly contributes to the success of the company and your fellow employee-owners Purpose-Driven Mission — We proudly donate 35% of our revenue to charitable causes , turning business success into community impact Leadership with Influence — Lead critical property operations and help shape the future growth of a premier entertainment destination Meaningful Career Growth — Join a company that values internal development, innovation, and long-term success Dynamic & Diverse Work Environment — Manage everything from daily operations and large-scale projects to special events and renovations Collaborative Culture — Work alongside dedicated leaders and teams committed to excellence, accountability, and The Brook Way Lead the operations.
