Electrical Engineering Manager Qualifications:
2-3 + Years of Electrical Engineering or Project Management Experience (Ideally in Utility, Power Distribution, or Substation) and Some Supervisor/Management Experience required Bachelor's Or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related field required Rural electric cooperative experience or municipal electric utility experience required P.E. (Professional Engineer) License in New Mexico preferred Electrical Infrastructure Project Management and Supervisory Experience preferred Experience managing projects from design through startup, including load and power studies, Distribution Line Planning, and System Design preferredElectrical Engineering Manager Benefits:
$80,000.00- $180,000.
Electrical Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing all engineering operations, including metering, system planning, power quality, protective equipment, staking, GIS, and distribution engineering Responsibilities include managing daily workflows, handling capital and O&M budgets, and supporting long range planning for oil-field, irrigation, and distribution systems Key duties include system design, load analysis, distribution planning, coordination and fault studies, and managing projects for new substations and power-line construction Conducting site visits, and managing projects from design through completion. Mostly an office-based role with some fieldwork and occasional overnight travel Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
