Job Overview Under direction of the General Manager, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all activities related to new development, utility infrastructure, engineering oversight, capital improvement projects and environmental compliance for the District. This position ensures that water, sewer and process water systems within the industrial park are designed, constructed, operated and maintained in accordance with the District standards, regulatory requirements, and long-term planning goals. The District provides technical expertise, leads project deliver, oversees consultants and contractors, and serves as a primary liaison with developers, regulatory agencies and partnering jurisdictions.

Experience and Training:

Any combination of training, education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities. A typical way to gain the required knowledge and ability is: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management or closely related technical field plus five (5) years of increasing responsible engineering experience preferred; OR 4-year technical degree (or comparable work experience) with a minimum of five (5) years of increasing responsible project management or engineering experience in public works construction, experience managing capital projects, consultants and contractors; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineering (PE) licensed preferred.

Pay:

$118,143.48 - $169,517.93 per year
