Utility Design Administrator at Coalesce Management Consulting Utility Design Administrator at Coalesce Management Consulting in Sparks, Nevada Posted in 1 day ago.
Type:
full-time
Job Description:
Utility Design Administrator We are currently partnering with a leading utilities provider in the West that is delivering large-scale infrastructure and service expansion projects across a rapidly growing region. This is a strong opportunity for a Utility Design Administrator who wants to be directly involved in projects that support new development, system improvements, and critical utility infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer coordination, and project delivery , where you'll be working on projects that move from initial request through design and into construction. What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of electric and/or gas projects, ensuring that work moves efficiently from concept through execution. This includes preparing design packages, developing cost estimates, and supporting contract creation for new service and system improvement projects. You will work closely with engineering teams, field crews, and internal stakeholders to coordinate timelines, manage deliverables, and ensure projects align with utility standards and regulatory requirements. A key part of this role is acting as the main point of contact for customers , including developers, contractors, and external partners, guiding them through the utility process and ensuring expectations are met from start to finish. You will also support right-of-way and easement processes, coordinate pre-construction activities, and help drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment. What We Are Looking For We are targeting candidates with experience in utility design, project coordination, or infrastructure support roles within electric or gas environments. Experience working on distribution, sub-transmission, or service-related projects will stand out immediately. Familiarity with cost estimates, contracts, permitting, or customer-facing project work is highly valued. Candidates should be comfortable working cross-functionally, managing multiple priorities, and communicating clearly with both technical teams and external stakeholders. Why This Role Stands Out This is not a back-office support role. You will be directly involved in projects that enable community growth, support new developments, and drive infrastructure expansion across a key region. You will gain exposure to end-to-end project delivery , working alongside engineering, construction, and customer teams in real decision-making environments.
