GPI seeks a Bridge Engineering Project Manager familiar with the design of bridges for NYSDOT, PANYNJ, NYCDOT, or other NY agencies to join our team in our Melville or Manhattan office. Responsibilities:

Managing medium to large design projects Maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure contractual obligations Coordinating with sub-consultants and clients Direct and mentor junior engineers and technicians Willingness to check calculations and/or direct the design procedures of others to ensure that calculations are performed per AASHTO design standards or other requirements

Qualifications:

BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering New York State PE required. New Jersey PE is a plus. Master's degree a plus 12+ years of experience working in the bridge industry Experience working in a team environment, providing technical direction to a design team on minor and major bridge projects
