Job Description

GPI seeks a Bridge Engineering Project Manager familiar with the design of bridges for NYSDOT, PANYNJ, NYCDOT, or other NY agencies to join our team in our Melville or Manhattan office. We seek someone with a good work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work collectively with our team, and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects. Responsibilities:
Managing medium to large design projects Maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure contractual obligations Coordinating with sub-consultants and clients Direct and mentor junior engineers and technicians Willingness to check calculations and/or direct the design procedures of others to ensure that calculations are performed per AASHTO design standards or other requirementsQualifications:
BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering New York State PE required. New Jersey PE is a plus. Master's degree a plus 12+ years of experience working in the bridge industry Experience working in a team environment, providing technical direction to a design team on minor and major bridge projectsBenefits
