Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all engineering and technical responsibilities associated with the product line. Provide project management support to Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and accounting teams.- Lead, mentor, and develop Production Engineers in daily operations.
- Responsible for complete execution of all manufactured products.
- Oversee the full execution of all manufactured products from concept to completion.
- Manage vendor sourcing and qualification for both existing and new materials.
- Initiate and facilitate product launch meetings to support successful product introductions.
- Manage EPA certification submissions and coordinate regulatory testing as required.
- Maintain and enforce CAD standards for all product design activities.
- Communicate with customers through email, phone, and on-site visits to ensure all specifications and requirements are thoroughly met.
- Establish project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Oversee the development and execution of PPAP action items.
- Manage the corrective action process related to product quality concerns.
- Proactively identify potential and existing product or process issues and implement effective solutions.
- Work hands-on with shop personnel when necessary to verify product accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Process Engineering, Quality, and Production—to support project execution, process improvements, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Secondary projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in a project manager role.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Experience in metal fabrication preferred.
- Must be a strong leader and detail oriented.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload.
- Manage multiple tasks, adapt to change and consistently meet deadlines.
- Direct and lead initiatives, willingness to engage and drive results.
