Leadership Full Job Description Manufacturing Engineering Manager General Description :
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads a cross functional team of engineers to support existing and new products in the automotive manufacturing environment. The manager will be working with several departments within the organization. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will report to the Engineering Director.
Responsibilities :
Support and follow the Company Safety Program Serve as technical escalation point for manufacturing, quality, and customer issues Support new program launch for the manufacturing division Set clear expectations, priorities, and performance standards Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans Coach, mentor, and develop engineers with varied experience and behavioral styles Adapt leadership and communication style to support engineers with different working and behavioral preferences while maintaining consistent performance standards Define decision criteria, timelines, and quality expectations to ensure timely execution without over-analysis or rushed solutions Maintain composure and structured decision-making under schedule, quality, and customer pressure Lead process optimization, cost reduction, and cycle-time improvement initiatives Measure success through team execution and repeatable outcomes rather than individual technical ownership Other duties as required
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field or 8-10 years of experience in a similar role Five years of experience in manufacturing processing in the automotive industry Ability to communicate orally and in writing Ability to lift 35+ pounds Knowledge of Automotive Body components and

Job Location :
Supports the Gerstco Manufacturing Group with some travel as required.
