Lead engineering delivery and support project teams across proposals, design, and construction—driving safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the EPC Director and Business Development to qualify opportunities and set proposal plans.
- Lead engineering input for proposals (approach, staffing, hours, cost, schedule, and narratives).
- Set and improve engineering standards, tools, and workflows across the lifecycle (proposal → design → construction).
- Direct discipline coordination and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Ensure coverage and completeness of bid documents, estimates, and deliverables.
- Drive quality: establish QC plans, review deliverables, and enforce standards.
- Drive schedule performance: build/maintain project schedules and protect internal review time.
- Drive cost performance: support cost-control planning and corrective actions.
- Plan and balance engineering workload; assign staff/subcontractors to meet project needs.
- Support Project Managers to deliver contracted scope safely, on time, and within budget.
- Build and develop the team: hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Manage department budget items (licenses, memberships, training, conferences).
- Monitor utilization and weekly labor; adjust staffing and priorities as needed.
- Approve timekeeping for direct reports; ensure correct charge codes.
- Coordinate engineering needs with Finance, HR, IT, Operations, and other partners.
- Build and maintain key client relationships; support account delivery as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Maintain 70%+ utilization.
- Hybrid role; travel to OKC HQ for in-person meetings a few times per month (based on location).
- Lead a team of up to eight (8) Project Management-level employees (and more as needed).
- Communicate engineering updates through the EPC Director.
- Model strong attendance, planning, and time management.
- Promote a collaborative, high-communication team culture across offices and disciplines.
- Use sound judgment; communicate decisions and risks early.
- Identify issues quickly and drive practical solutions.
- Support and reinforce company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer (PE) required; able to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven project and people leadership (project + department management).
- EPC experience with end-to-end project execution (proposal through closeout).
- Strong delivery track record (cost, schedule, quality, and customer service).
- Clear communicator with diverse stakeholders (owners, engineers, subs, suppliers, and officials).
- Working knowledge of engineering software used on assigned projects.
- Ability to work the hours needed to meet project demands.
Preferred:
Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree.Preferred:
Midstream, RNG, and energy market experience.Preferred:
Business development experience and credibility in target sectors.Preferred:
Experience building/leading an engineering department (staffing, software, QC, execution).WORKING CONDITIONS

- Attend and participate in meetings.
- Travel on short notice, including potentially extended trips.
