Belger Cartage Service, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Account Manager who thrives at the intersection of client development, technical execution, and operational leadership. This is not a back-office Account Manager role. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating leadership position for someone who can develop client relationships, lead complex projects, and drive profitable growth. If you are a sales professional who understands cranes, rigging, logistics, or heavy industrial projects—and you're ready to own both the client relationship and the project outcome—we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Drive Growth Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial and industrial project opportunities Develop long-term partnerships with contractors, plant managers, and facility owners Lead client meetings to define scope, objectives, timelines, and technical feasibility Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and project scopes Lead Execution Coordinate with operations teams, crane operators, riggers, logistics, and vendors Develop safe, efficient lift plans and execution strategies Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractors Anticipate risk and proactively solve problems in the field Control scope changes and protect project margins Deliver Results Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Monitor financial performance and meet or exceed sales and gross margin targets Track project KPIs and maintain thorough documentation through closeout Accurately report pipeline activity, client interactions, and project progress What Success Looks Like You consistently win repeat business from satisfied clients Your projects hit schedule and margin targets Operations teams trust your planning and leadership You grow revenue while maintaining safety and execution excellence What You Bring U.S. work authorization Experience managing construction or heavy industrial projects Background in crane & rigging operations, manufacturing, or heavy logistics preferred Strong estimating and scope development skills Proven ability to manage both client relationships and field execution Financial acumen and comfort managing project margins Excellent communication and organizational skills Self-starter mindset with strong initiative Preferred Experience Sales and customer development Crane & rigging planning or operations Heavy haul, machinery moving, or warehousing/logistics Schedule Monday-Friday On-call as project demands require Why Belger?
