An Engineering Program Manager provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company's products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program management. Experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects and designs.
Preferred qualifications:
PE License, RA License, Chartered Engineer License or equivalent technical professional license or certification. Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical fields. Experience managing advanced manufacturing and data center design. Experience with data center specific or equivalent equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, building controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and a working understanding of start up/commissioning processes. You will provide project management of large-scale advanced manufacturing, data centers, networking, AC power distribution/conversion and cooling methods at multiple scales. You will manage complex schedules, budgets, and broad inter-dependencies. You will have extensive experience managing large-scale technical projects in a changing industry, being able to tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem solving leadership with limited oversight. This role would be covering the US-Midwest region. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities Manage advanced manufacturing and data center design projects from detailed design through construction administration and finally closeout and handover to operations. Be responsible for gathering internal requirements, generating potential options, presenting to the leadership team, and delivering design solutions that satisfy customers needs. Create and manage strategies for the execution of designs that leverage a standard baseline plan of record. Overcome critical challenges while maintaining adherence to project timelines, quality and costs, and managing a cross functional set of stakeholders. Be responsible for managing strategy for projects that require deviation from the baseline design due to environmental, code or other aspects that require localization.
