Mechanical Engineer Manager

Responsibilities may include a combination of the following:

Hardware Development:

Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of a hardware development function for electronic design, mechanical design and/or hardware reliability. Own and disposition incoming engineering project requests, including customer issues, reliability improvements, cost reduction efforts, and incremental design updates Prioritize and assign engineering resources to projects based on urgency, customer impact, and capacity Manage project loading and capacity planning to ensure sustained execution without over‑commitment Provide direct people leadership to sustaining engineers, including technical guidance, performance management, coaching, and developmen tEnsure sustaining changes, fixes, and updates meet customer specifications, qualification requirements, and internal quality standards Drive timely resolution of field, manufacturing, and customer‑driven issues in partnership with cross‑functional teams (program management, manufacturing, systems, product support, and product management) Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
