Job Description
We are seeking a skilled OSP Engineer with experience in Lumen, CenturyLink, or BrightSpeed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of outside plant infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of network projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop outside plant (OSP) network infrastructure including fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cables. Perform field surveys, site walks, and feasibility assessments to identify the best routing for network deployments. Create and review engineering plans, CAD drawings, and technical specifications. Manage construction schedules, budgets, and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met. Conduct quality checks and ensure that all OSP installations meet company and client standards.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in OSP engineering with Lumen, CenturyLink, or BrightSpeed. Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other OSP design software. Strong understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and utility coordination processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Job Types:
