We're partnering with a well-established, employee-focused automation/industrial solutions company in the Camp Hill, PA area to hire an Automation Engineering Manager. This is a fully onsite leadership role overseeing a controls design team responsible for industrial control systems and control panel design. You'll balance people leadership and workload management with technical oversight to ensure high-quality, compliant design deliverables.

Full-time, 40 hours/week What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop Controls Designers/Senior Designers (coaching, onboarding, training, performance support). Manage team workload, staffing, prioritization, and assignments to hit project timelines and deliverables. Coordinate with project management, engineering, and panel build teams to support execution and solve design issues. Review/approve drawings, redlines, design packages, and release documentation for accuracy and consistency. Maintain/enforce department standards, documentation requirements, and best practices. Ensure designs meet applicable codes/standards and customer requirements (NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL 508A). Oversee part selection/standardization and help maintain design libraries/databases.
