VP, Engineering & Projects Vitro Flat Glass/Architectural United States, Pennsylvania, Cheswick 400 Guys Run Road (Show on map) Sep 03, 2026 Direct, plan and ensure the comprehensive execution of the engineering projects of the Vitro Architectural business, ensuring that the objectives of scope, cost, time, quality and safety are met, aligned with the business strategy. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing risks, optimizing resources and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory regulations, in order to deliver engineering solutions that generate value, operational efficiency and sustainable growth for the company. Responsibilities Drive innovation and continuous improvement Propose technological, methodological or process improvements.

Implement project management best practices (PMI, Agile, Lean).

Promote solutions, problem solving and root cause analysis related to the float glass manufacturing process, from raw materials, furnace, tin bath, annealing Lehr, cutting line, discharge systems, glass interleaved protection, etc

Assist in the development of the technological strategy for the architectural business unit, defining the roadmap of new technologies, knowledge of suppliers in the industry and attendance at fairs.

Promote standardization and operational efficiency in the organization. Lead strategic project planning Define the scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.

Establish master schedules, budget, and necessary resources.

Align projects with corporate strategy and business priorities Directing the comprehensive execution of projects Supervise the implementation of technical and operational activities.

Ensure compliance with established times, costs and quality.

Resolve deviations and make timely decisions to ensure continuity.

Ensure the correct management of project change (e.g., driving the development of training materials and support in the transfer of operational, maintenance, engineering and key technologies technology for personnel to operate new equipment/technologies) Manage risks and problems Identify, analyze, and mitigate technical, financial, and operational risks.

Implement contingency plans and ensure project continuity.

Manage scope changes and their impact on costs and times. Ensure regulatory and technical compliance Monitor compliance with engineering standards, regulatory regulations, and internal policies.

Guarantee safe practices on site and facilities under industrial safety standards. Suppliers, contractors and external resources Support in the bidding processes, technical evaluation and selection of suppliers.

Define contract negotiation frameworks, service agreements, and performance levels.

Follow up on the execution of the contract and control of associated costs. Financial control of the project portfolio Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

Control expenses, analyze deviations and ensure profitability.

Prepare financial reports and projections. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders Inform managers, key areas of progress, risks, and critical decisions.

Present executive reports, performance metrics, and analytics.

Coordinate expectations with internal and external customers. Ensure project quality
